not in awe of beauty, but rather, in disbelief at what I s looking at; the area the animals were being housed. I was liiterally rendered speechless, still am to a degree. The first disagreement with the management of the animals was voiced by me dealing with a sick cocker spaniel. The manager tried to fire me, but to no avail, eventually, I stopped fighting to stay and she took advantage of the lack of resistance, and eventually I was just not on the schedule any longer. I never felt as physically sick as I was going into work at that place. Obviously I was not alone in my questioning and challenging the judgement of the director of operations, she let go of five or six other employees around the same time as me. The employees she had let go contacted me and the things I heard were just as sickening as the black mold that ran rampid in that place. The local news was contacted as well and responded within 48 hours At this moment they are putting together a story to air here shortly. I will keep you posted with the story as it unfolds. I am doing this because I personally love the field I'm in and the people I have had the honor of working with, and will dip whatever it takes to continue to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
